SIP Calculator
Calculate returns on SIP investments.
A Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) is a disciplined investment strategy where you invest a fixed amount of money at regular intervals (usually monthly) into a mutual fund or other investment vehicle. It's a popular method for wealth creation as it promotes a habit of regular saving and helps to average out the cost of your investment over time, a concept known as rupee cost averaging. This SIP Calculator is designed to help you project the potential future value of your investments. To use the calculator, you need to provide three inputs. First, enter the 'Monthly Investment' amount you plan to contribute each month. Second, provide the 'Expected Return Rate' as an annual percentage. This is a hypothetical rate of return you expect your investment to generate on average per year. Since market returns are not guaranteed, it's wise to be conservative with this estimate. Third, input the 'Investment Period' in years, which is how long you plan to continue making your monthly investments. Once you click 'Calculate', the tool will then estimate the 'Future Value' of your SIP investments at the end of the term. The results are broken down to show you the 'Invested Amount' (the total capital you put in) and the 'Estimated Gains' (the wealth generated through compounding). This provides a clear picture of how small, regular investments can grow into a significant corpus over time.
